Project Information

Turning a dream into reality, Sunday in Scotland was born from a lifelong love of exquisite chocolate. Named as a tribute to long-ago childhood Sundays, when nothing was planned and a hint of decadence was allowed, we wanted to build a brand that nods to the little moments in life.

We created the tagline ‘Made for idle hands’ which perfectly captures the original sentiment behind the company’s creation. We then introduced playful copy and illustration to help craft and establish the brand narrative.

With the company headquartered in Malta we developed a signature product for them ‘The Maltese Falcon’ made of solid chocolate and styled around the iconic prop from the classic Humphrey Bogart film of the same name.

Illustrator Emma Shoard brought warmth and humour to the products and packaging with her own unique take on the idea of time well spent. We also introduced a bold, nostalgic colour palette to deliver a recognisable backdrop to the brand.
