We were commissioned by the team at Urban Vision to help develop the brand for their new Build to Rent asset situated on Broad Street in Birmingham.
As well as being exactly 100m tall it’s set to be a ‘smart’ building that will utilise the latest technologies to drive energy efficiency, monitor air quality, water consumption and waste. With this in mind we settled on the name ‘The Hundred’ capturing not just height but also the metrics that will be constantly measured when in use.
We developed a graphic framework inspired by the buildings iconic design. Combining a bold, playful colour palette with the buildings silhouette to create a visual language that could adapt across different touch points.
