Working with GlobalData
Steve’s always banging on about the importance of data – and he’s not wrong, particularly in this day and age.
Because in the midst of a global crisis, it seems like raw data turned into trusted intelligence can really help businesses prosper and stay alive. But what’s even more interesting is that this data has now also become a tool in the fight against COVID-19.
One of the key players here are GlobalData, one of the world’s biggest data companies and a client of ours. Now there’s a chance you’ve noticed too, but we keep seeing them around and hearing about their massively impactful work which gives us a warm, fuzzy feeling.
Thinking back, we’re reminded of how much we loved working with these guys, who came to us in need of a comprehensive rebrand. Aiming to take on a whole new range of sectors, GlobalData were faced with the task of how to do so without losing trust within their key sectors.
This was a challenge because other data providers tend to zoom in on one market, saying “hey, we’re the experts on this”. Which is why GlobalData needed a brand that said that an across-the board presence doesn’t necessarily reflect a lack of expertise, but quite the opposite.
So that’s what we gave them! And we can’t stress enough how proud we are to have worked with such a giant, both because of the work they do but also because they approached us.
Let’s face it, they’re a data company, right? Which basically means they can see who’s good and who’s not.
They know what they’re talking about, but so does Steve Edge.
As a founder and creative director, that’s something Steve really loves – that a global data company found us, not the other way around. That just speaks volumes to us.
And that’s the end of our trip down memory lane! So let’s just finish things off by saying this: we love the work we do and we love seeing the effects of it.
