Tucked away on Church Street – one of Birmingham’s oldest and most characterful corners – The Townsend is a quiet kind of landmark. Fifteen beautifully designed homes, including two standout penthouses, right in the heart of the city.
We were tasked with creating the name, branding and digital platform for the development.






Inspired by someone who made a difference.
The name is a nod to Mary Elizabeth Townsend – a former owner of the building and a woman who spent her life supporting vulnerable women and children through her charity work. Her story gave us the perfect foundation: a brand rooted in Birmingham’s rich history, but with the quiet strength to stand on its own.





We developed a monogram inspired by the buildings unique proportions and combined it with a refined, elegant identity.
