The gods do not take from a life the time one spends in fishing…..
Amazing fish Steve x
It looks like an amazing trip, Steve. Bet you had a ball!
I would say that is a 29 lb fish.
A biggun !!
The Salmon Gods were looking after you in the Rhynda Peninsular. Isn’t it the most amazing place to fish, nothing taken in and nothing taken out, fish weighed measured and one scale removed and sent to Murmansk University for the Atlantic Salmon Reserve Research Project.
I guess your fish weighed 52lbs.
Hi Steve, love fishing normally on the beach in Hythe Kent for fresh mackerel so would love to try fly fishing.
I guess 28.5lbs
Great trip by the look of it! Congratulations!
I guess 33lb
He is a brute 24.5 lbs love to hear how long it took to land him
Look at the size of that salmon!
What a result !! Great fish, I reckon 27.5lb
Simon and Marion say that is a big fish Steve. In fact, it is a helluva lot bigger than anything we have ever seen, or expect to see, on the benighted Oykel River. We estimate after a few evening drinks that it must be around 50 lbs, Marion says 57, Simon says 49. Conditions in Russia sound horrendous and we are spending the summer quietly in Kent. Hope to catch up!
