    Hi Angel,

The Salmon Gods were looking after you in the Rhynda Peninsular. Isn’t it the most amazing place to fish, nothing taken in and nothing taken out, fish weighed measured and one scale removed and sent to Murmansk University for the Atlantic Salmon Reserve Research Project.
I guess your fish weighed 52lbs.

Simon and Marion say that is a big fish Steve. In fact, it is a helluva lot bigger than anything we have ever seen, or expect to see, on the benighted Oykel River. We estimate after a few evening drinks that it must be around 50 lbs, Marion says 57, Simon says 49. Conditions in Russia sound horrendous and we are spending the summer quietly in Kent. Hope to catch up!
