Breakfast at The Dorchester
Steve launched our new book ‘30 Things You Need to Know for Running a Successful Business’ last week. We have worked with Movers and Shakers for a number of years now; so we chose to celebrate our 30th anniversary by launching the book at their breakfast event on Thursday.
Every guest at the event received a copy of the book. Each page contains lessons Steve has learnt throughout his 30 years as the Founder and Creative Director of Edge Design. We designed it in-house, using fluoro pink ink and gold foil. The book reveals Steve’s pearls of wisdom on creativity, transforming your business and making sure you win the Premiership.
It was a great morning. The event included some insightful talks from Chris Taylor (Hermes Real Estate), David Sleath (SEGRO), David Marks (Brockton Capital) and Chris Grigg (British Land). The speakers offered their thoughts on the current market landscape and how heads of industry are viewing our political options; in particular, they discussed the potential pitfalls of today’s election and how this may impact on our country’s future.
All 550 guests at the event took their books home with them; David Jennings said it was the first time ever that none of a sponsor’s literature was left on the tables! Clearly it’s not just Steve who loves pink!
The books will be available on our new online shop soon. Furthermore, the first 100 copies ordered will be signed and numbered by Steve, so keep your eyes peeled!
