If you go to the back section with all the mug shots and CVs you’ve usually got a paedophile, a rapist and a murderer looking at you because people think that photography will do. It won’t. Just because you’ve used that picture of Bert for the last few years doesn’t mean it’s all right.

If you look at it as a stranger would you’d realise it can be off-putting. Making sure you’ve got good portrait photography is key to any tender

Competition for work is fiercer than ever. The number of tenders submitted for each contract is double what it was a few years ago, yet still people don’t put enough effort into their submissions.

 

You wouldn’t turn up for a job interview in a shell suit, but many people are happy to submit tender documents they’ve thrown together at the last minute. They don’t get hired.
