We’ve just completed the build on a new site for Killby & Gayford as part of a full rebrand. The site was build on a CMS platform so allowing the Marketing team complete control over content going forward. The site uses the latest web technologies for multi platform functionality including:

We’re all enjoying our new tropical fish tank in the design studio. Complete with 5 Neon Tetras, pink pebbles and a harpoon wielding action man sporting a retro orange wet suit it certainly adds some colour to our meeting room!

We were really excited to receive a box of goodies from Pitmans Law Firm the other day, who have just launched the new brand we created for them. We started work on the project last September and worked closely with them over the following months to create an exciting, vibrant new brand. The new look is a real departure from the traditional law firm branding, we have given them a bright new palette of colours and with help from Neil Patterson www.littlewritingmonkey.co.uk , a new positioning statement and tone of voice.

As part of the rebrand for Pitmans Law Firm we also created a brand new web site for them. Designed to highlight and support the new look, the site also had to be extremely simple to use with all pertinent information within easy reach. Client participation with the site was also a big factor in the website design - easily updatable without compromising on the look.

The site was built using the following:

A combination of a html base with integrated flash widgets
Flash substitute images for use on mobile technology
CMS allowing Pitmans a simple interface for updating the News & Media area

We’ve just received a copy of the brochure we created for our friends at MAA Architects and, even if we do say so ourselves, it looks fantastic. The half Canadian bind works really well, giving the brochure a tough, rugged feel whilst the orange really jumps off the page.

Here at Edge Design we have worked with Rules Restaurant for many years now, helping the 200 year old restaurant keep its menus and style up to date. And there is no better time to visit the historic London eatery than right now, with a new cocktail bar and a brand new menu (designed by us!)

We are all very excited here at Edge Design as we are opening a new Midlands branch with our head of web design David ‘Fresh’ Freshwater heading up operations. We will have more news on the opening once everything is in place.

Continuing our relationship with Central Foundation School here in Shoreditch, we have had two young interns, Adnan and Tony, working for us over the last two weeks. They’ve been getting involved in studio life, working on live briefs and have produced some great ideas showing all us old timers how it’s done!
